Care Instructions
At Dampf She Crafty, we take pride in creating custom apparel, business merchandise, and personalized items built to last. Proper care ensures your products stay vibrant, durable, and looking fresh for years to come. Below are the best practices for each type of item.
APPAREL
The majority of our apparel uses DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing, designed to last 100+ washes with full-color, photographic-quality vibrancy.
Washing Tips:
- Turn inside out to protect the transfer from friction.
- Use cold water whenever possible—hot water may shrink the garment.
- Choose a mild detergent; avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Opt for a gentle cycle to reduce stress on the print.
- Skip fabric softeners where possible—they can weaken the transfer.
- Hand wash when feasible for the gentlest care.
Drying Tips:
- Lay flat to dry to prevent stretching.
- If using a dryer, choose a cool setting.
- Do not dry clean; chemicals can damage the transfer.
Ironing Tips:
- Turn the garment inside out before ironing.
- Use low heat, avoiding direct contact with the print.
- Be mindful that fabric type and age of the print may affect care.
EMBROIDERY
Embroidered apparel and accessories feature delicate stitching that requires special attention.
Tips for Longevity:
- Hand wash or turn inside out for machine washing.
- Wash separately from items with zippers, buttons, or rough fabrics.
- Use mild detergent and cold water to prevent color bleeding.
- Air dry when possible to avoid shrinking.
- Iron carefully, avoiding direct contact with embroidery; use a pressing cloth or iron on the reverse side.
DECALS
Our decals are designed for long-lasting, vibrant results, even in sunlight or harsh weather conditions.
Tips for Longevity:
- Hand wash only to maintain adhesive strength and color.
- Avoid abrasive scrubbing or harsh chemicals.
